IVL declined to give us exact numbers or mileage/hourly rates since they’d need a full inventory of items to give a final estimate. On the surface, it appears that IVL’s local costs are higher than average, but their long-distance fees are very competitive. 

We requested two quotes from International Van Lines — one for a local move within Florida, and one for a long-distance move from Florida to New York.

• Local move (within Florida) = $2,700
• Long-distance move (Florida to New York) = $3,200

Both of the quotes we requested included packing supplies, truck fees, and taxes.
